Velocity of interfaces with short and long ranged elasticity under sinusoidal creep

Abstract Plenty of research on elastic interfaces has been done systems where the interface is pushed with a constant force. We studied average velocity an under sinusoidal driving in creep region, considering both short-range systems, such as magnetic domain walls during hysteresis loop, and long-ranged fractures. obtained modified version approximate power-law behavior material-dependent exponent for short ranged simpler long-range elasticity. discuss whether model can be applied to fatigue fractures or if extra physics needed.
